Operations Associate, New Grad

We're rebuilding the financial plumbing of the internet from the ground up. WELCOME TO THE HIFI NEW GRAD PROGRAM This role is part of HIFI's New Grad Program — a structured 3-month contract designed to give early-career talent real ownership, real mentorship, and a real path to full-time employment. You won't be handed busywork. You'll be embedded in a team working on live infrastructure from day one, paired with a senior colleague who will support your growth, and evaluated for a full-time offer at the end of your contract. We're not looking for someone who has all the answers. We're looking for someone who asks the right questions, moves with urgency, and raises the bar every week they're here. WHAT YOU'LL DO Execute core operational workflows including due diligence on vendors and partners, and end-to-end payment operations across fiat and stablecoin rails Assist with Customer Success function including onboarding workflows, including coordination of KYC/KYB documentation review and status tracking Lead strategic research initiatives on emerging trends in stablecoins, payments, and card infrastructure to inform company direction Build and maintain quantitative and operational models to support key business decisions, forecasting, and performance tracking Identify operational bottlenecks and work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, and product to build better processes WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Currently completing (expected graduation June 2026) or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience Operate with high ownership and urgency, taking full responsibility for outcomes across ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives Excel in fast-paced, high-growth environments, able to prioritize effectively and drive multiple workstreams in parallel Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders, aligning teams across product, engineering, compliance, and external partners to get things done NICE TO HAVE Internship or coursework in finance, banking, payments, fintech operations, or a related field Exposure to payment rails, digital assets, or stablecoin ecosystems — even at a foundational level Experience with tools like Excel, Notion, Airtable, or similar operational platforms Genuine interest in how money moves — and a desire to understand why it sometimes doesn't THE HIFI CODE This is how we operate. Truth We value directness without drama. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 - $76,000 USD. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package. This role begins as a 3-month contract with a structured path to full-time employment upon successful completion.
