    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<h1>Ultrasound Technician (MIT)</h1>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong>Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while supporting radiology operations.</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Starting at 65/hr plus 5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CT: Weekday & Weekend Coverage (including holidays)</strong><strong>Shift Hours</strong><strong>Day 7:00am – 7:30pm</strong><strong>Night 6:00pm – 6:30am</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging</li>\n <li>Prepare and position patients for exams</li>\n <li>Select appropriate imaging settings and capture images</li>\n <li>Document findings and ensure image quality</li>\n <li>Maintain exam room readiness and supplies</li>\n <li>Upload images to PACS and manage records</li>\n <li>Enter patient data into CPRS/Radiology systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) designation</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years ultrasound/sonography experience</li>\n <li>BLS certification</li>\n <li>ARDMS certification (preferred, not required)</li>\n <li>PACS experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
