Come work where you play—and help us inspire healthier, happier lives for everyone!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This is a public relations position, providing general information and assistance to visitors at Antioch Park, Meadowbrook Park, and Ernie Miller Nature Center.</li>\n <li>Park Safety Aide’s also conduct bicycle patrols on the Gary Haller Streamway Trail System (Mill Creek), Kill Creek Park, Lexington Lake and the Coffee Creek Streamway from Heritage Park.</li>\n <li>Park Safety Aides assist the Park Police by taking non-criminal reports, observing for any possible criminal activity, and contacting park visitors observed committing park ordinance violations to seek voluntary compliance.</li>\n <li>Park Safety Aides also assist Park Police Officers with special events as needed, including but not limited to triathlons, fun runs, festivals, and other JCPRD-sponsored events.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This is an outdoor position that requires walking, riding a bike and/or standing for eight-hour workdays.</li>\n <li>Positions start in May and end in September.</li>\n <li>Minimum age 20 years and older. </li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a criminal history and background check. </li>\n <li>Good physical condition and be able to work outdoors in the summer heat.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.</em></strong> </p>",
