The stadium is also host of numerous other sports and entertainment events. The multi-purpose venue  features flexible capacity that can expand to up to 83,000 seats; a retractable roof structure inspired by the oculus in the ancient Rome Pantheon; views of the Atlanta skyline; a 360-degree HD video halo board that, at nearly six stories tall and 1,100 linear feet in diameter, is  the largest in the NFL and the world; an exterior fan plaza that provides fans with pre- and post-game entertainment; and a host of bars, restaurants and unique gathering destinations offering fans an unparalleled game day experience.  Mercedes-Benz Stadium is part of AMB Sports &amp; Entertainment, which also includes the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United.</p><p></p><p></p><p><u><b>Position Summary</b></u></p><p></p><p>As a Security Officer at MBS, you play a crucial role in fostering a secure, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and guests. Serving as accessible resources, MBS Security Officers provide assistance in various situations, including crisis intervention and information dissemination. With a commitment to swift responses during emergencies, these officers are integral team members dedicated to protecting MBS stadium&#39;s property, guests, and employees. Their proactive stance involves engaging in preventive activities and actively contributing to overall building safety and security by continuously monitoring and reporting physical security and safety conditions.</p><p></p><p></p><p><u><b>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></u></p><p><br />•    Must be willing to work up to a 12-hour shift (for example: 6am-6pm) Monday-Friday. This role will also support other days/shifts as needed. <br />•    Conduct thorough foot patrols and execute comprehensive security checks throughout the entire property.<br />•    Visually inspect and monitor designated areas, ensuring the proper functioning of security and safety equipment.<br />•    Promptly investigate and report any unusual or unauthorized activities.<br />•    Maintain vigilance for potential fire hazards, suspicious packages, spills, and be alert to unusual sounds or odors.<br />•    Inspect and report the condition of areas, exits, and emergency lighting.<br />•    Monitor external access points to vital areas within the facility.<br />•    Oversee access through designated doors, responding to alarm conditions, and facilitating safe evacuations when necessary.<br />•    Respond to audible alarms on HVAC and Electrical Equipment, following procedures to report and silence alarms during after-hours operations.<br />•    Identify and turn off electrical appliances left on after normal work hours to mitigate fire risks.<br />•    Closely monitor designated areas for trespassers and unauthorized individuals.<br />•    Control building access by registering and directing visitors, inspecting ID cards, and issuing temporary access badges as needed.<br />•    Escort visitors and personnel according to established procedures.<br />•    Inspect packages and designated items, including acting as a searcher when required.<br />•    Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems where applicable.<br />•    Utilize computer-based security/safety software and applications.<br />•    Complete required testing of security and fire systems equipment as per established procedures.<br />•    Operate and monitor alarm systems, initiating appropriate responses to various alarms.<br />•    Ensure continuous communication with the AMBSE Security Management Team and dispatch additional security personnel or check alarms as required.<br />•    Maintain excellent health and physical condition, being able to stand and walk for extended periods.</p><p><br /><u><b>Qualifications Requirements:</b></u><br />•    Must be 18 years of age or older.<br />•    High school education or successful completion of a General Educational Development (GED) equivalency test.<br />•    Proficient in speaking and writing English.<br />•    Successful completion of a medical examination, including a chemical and substance abuse test and analysis.<br />•    Completion of the Individual Confidentiality Contract, Release of Information Statement, and Chemical Non-Abuse Statement.<br />•    Successful completion of background investigations required by AMBSE.<br />•    Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a traditional security, military, or police role.<br /> </p>",
