Collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance value, support go-to-market initiatives, and optimize buyer journeys.</p>\n<p>As Senior Director of Developer Relations, you will be responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing and executing the developer engagement strategy, aligning with company goals and product roadmap.</li>\n <li>Defining KPIs to measure developer engagement success and setting clear goals to track team progress.</li>\n <li>Creating high-quality content to educate and engage developers, and partnering with digital and web teams for distribution.</li>\n <li>Building and nurturing a vibrant developer community through online forums, social media groups, and in-person events.</li>\n <li>Participating in developer communities, answering questions, providing support, and fostering relationships.</li>\n <li>Working closely with global marketing to develop and include developer messaging and activities for GTM activities.</li>\n <li>Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.</li>\n <li>Working closely with Akamai teams investing in Product Led Growth to represent the voice of the developer.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Do what you love</b></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have 15 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in marketing and/or a technical fiend or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>Have a technical foundation in cloud computing with hands-on experience building business applications.</li>\n <li>Be a strategic thinker with experience defining vision, roadmaps, and driving data-informed iteration.</li>\n <li>Understand developer workflows, tools, and multiple programming languages and frameworks.</li>\n <li>Foster developer communities, participate in discussions, and organize events like meetups and hackathons.</li>\n <li>Have experience aligning DevRel initiatives to business goals and reporting on success metrics to executives.</li>\n <li>Be an excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.</li>\n <li>Enjoy leading and mentoring teams effectively, influencing across cross-functional technical organizations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p>\n<p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. The base salary for this position ranges from $165,100 - $342,900/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
