We're looking for dependable driver-partners who align with our values, are detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Details</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099)</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Location: Pickup in Upper Marlboro, MD ;  deliveries within MARYLAND and VIRGINIA AREA</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Hours:</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">     o    Shift: (overnight) 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM, and possibility of 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM early morning shift</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">     o    Days: Monday and Thursday. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Pick up prepared bags from our Upper Marlboro, MD location.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Load your vehicle in an organized and efficient manner.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Follow a designated route using a smartphone app, deliver bags to customers’ doorsteps, and report delivery statuses.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Collect return bags from customers and return them to the pickup location.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Assist with basic organization and logistics at the warehouse if needed.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements: </span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Must own a reliable vehicle and smartphone.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Prior experience with small parcel delivery (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL) is a plus.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Proof of the following insurance coverages:</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">     o    Auto insurance</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">     o    General liability insurance</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">     o    Workers’ compensation insurance</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Proficient with GPS navigation apps and digital communication.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Shares our mission-driven and sustainability-focused values.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Available for early morning shifts on Monday and Wednesday; Fridays may be added in the future.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">•    Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(35, 35, 35)\">Diversity and inclusion are essential values at Vegetable and Butcher.
