Design work is monitored and reviewed by a senior level engineer.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Primary Job Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work in a team environment to analyze requirements from the customer and develop design solutions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completes engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor to ensure conformance standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completes engineering designs based on Raycap&#39;s manufacturing processes and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures items on fabrication drawings are detailed correctly through design collaboration, peer-review, drafting check or other departmental functions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates with engineering, composite fabrication, and steel fabrication vendors as required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in engineering review meetings (ERM) and R&amp;D efforts as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains list of jobs completed within the engineering department</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accreditation considered a plus)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience with creation of assembly of 3-D sub-assemblies into main assemblies required using solid modeling CAD software (experience with Inventor/SolidWorks a plus)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with low-volume, high-mix products, preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Willing to work onsite, in office daily and willing to support manufacturing as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work to a schedule and achieve timelines</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Who are we</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Raycap, Inc. creates products that protect and support the world&rsquo;s most valuable assets.
