    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Surveillance Supervisor&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Position Summary</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Key Accountabilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required</span></li>\n <li><span>Trains new team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments</span></li>\n <li><span>Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations</span></li>\n <li><span>Manages other incentives as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>High School Diploma</span></li>\n <li><span>Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; gaming experience preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible liquor service and Food Safety Certification</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Work Environment Considerations</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Secure back office environment, sitting for long periods of time, watching footage for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><i><strong>Great Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
