This role focuses on operational oversight, employee training, inspection activities, documentation accuracy, and issue escalation.</p>\n<p>The Supervisor acts as the primary site-level resource for quality execution while partnering closely with the Plant Manager, Corporate Quality, and Product Safety teams. This position leads technicians and hourly quality resources, supports audits, and ensures procedures are followed consistently across shifts.</p>\n<p>The Quality & Compliance Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities</u></strong><u>: </u></p>\n<p><strong>Quality & Compliance Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the implementation and daily execution of established Quality & Compliance programs to meet food safety, product quality, and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely quality and compliance documentation</li>\n <li>Support corporate-driven initiatives and site-specific quality goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Supervision & Training</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise Quality Lab Technicians and other assigned quality resources</li>\n <li>Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback</li>\n <li>Ensure technicians follow testing, inspection, and documentation procedures</li>\n <li>Assist with onboarding and training of new employees on quality, food safety, GMPs, and sanitation practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Audit & Inspection Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct routine internal inspections and participate in internal audits</li>\n <li>Support third-party audits (ISO, food safety, customer audits) under the direction of management</li>\n <li>Assist with corrective action development, documentation, and follow-up</li>\n <li>Track nonconformances and verify timely closure</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Processes & Issue Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform and oversee quality testing and inspections</li>\n <li>Support the customer complaint and nonconformance process, including investigations and corrective actions</li>\n <li>Review quality data and report trends to management</li>\n <li>Escalate recurring issues, quality risks, or compliance gaps appropriately</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Food Safety & GMP Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support HACCP program activities and documentation</li>\n <li>Assist with monitoring prerequisite programs such as sanitation, pest control, and GMP compliance</li>\n <li>Verify incoming materials meet quality and specification requirements for food-contact applications</li>\n <li>Participate in food safety meetings and inspections</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree or equivalent practical experience in Quality, Food Safety, Compliance, or a related field; preferred Bachelor’s degree in a technical field</li>\n <li>Minimum of three years of experience in quality, food safety, or compliance within a manufacturing environment; preferred exposure to internal and/or external audits.</li>\n <li>Prior experience leading, training, or supervising employees or technicians</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and technical documentation; preferred experience with laboratory testing or analytical methods</li>\n <li>Understanding GMPs and fundamental food safety principles; preferred experience with IOS or other food safety management systems.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-TM1</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
