          "text": "<p><strong>Summary of Position</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Purchasing and Inventory Manager, the Purchasing Specialist executes the procurement process to maintain optimal inventory levels, control costs, and ensure high quality standards and timely deliveries. This role handles day-to-day purchasing requests, ensuring the material and services are available to support operations without disruption while driving value and cost savings. Responsibilities include forecasting seasonal demands, evaluating inventory needs, and efficiently responding to supplier and customer inquiries. The Specialist also proactively addresses procurement issues such as order delays, shortages, and changes to support effective and efficient sourcing outcomes.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Functions include, but are not limited to:</p><p><strong>&#xa0;Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain necessary stock of parts, materials, and supplies</li><li>Effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of quality products</li><li>Build and manage strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements</li><li>Prepare and review purchase orders and invoices for accuracy</li><li>Regularly review and manage open purchase orders and receipts</li><li>Review and process non-inventory requisition orders</li><li>Prepare for Seasonal work (harvest, irrigation, etc.,) by forecasting, bidding and ordering</li><li>Review slow-moving inventory to minimize waste</li><li>Review and Update min/max levels</li><li>Cross reference inventory parts and identify optimal sourcing options</li><li>Respond efficiently to purchasing and accounts payable inquiries</li></ul><p><strong>&#xa0;Additional Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Provide backup support during month-end closing</li></ul><ul><li>Provide coverage for team meetings as required</li><li>Assist Inventory Managers, Assistant Inventory Managers, and Shop Personnel as needed</li></ul>",

Final compensation will be dependent upon skills &amp; experience.&#xa0;</p>",
