We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration &amp; inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting and installation, and specialized testing services to the construction industry.</p><p>&nbsp;We are looking for <strong><u>all experience levels</u></strong> of <strong>Engineering Technicians | Construction Inspectors&nbsp;</strong>who will play a key role in our Construction Administration/Construction Inspection division. day shift typically (@7am-5pm).&nbsp;<ul><li>If bad weather affects the timeline, some Saturdays may be needed to meet our clients project schedules.&nbsp;</li><li>Night time work may occur occasionally but we strive to give as much advance notice of possible so you can plan accordingly.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>This is year-round work since work is below the frost line.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong>:</p><ul><li>Performs construction engineering technician and inspection services primarily involving concrete testing, rebar inspection, and other building materials for W/WW plant construction projects and overseeing utility location, digging, and water main installations/connections and repairs for municipal clients.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for testing, inspecting, and reporting on specific aspects of construction works in progress, such as concrete pours, rebar placement, utility location, vertical and horizontal digging, as examples.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs&nbsp;inspections for&nbsp;construction projects&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;contractor&nbsp;compliance with state specifications, plans, and/or proposals for construction work.</li><li>Notify&nbsp;the Contractor or&nbsp;the Project Engineer of non-conforming work.</li><li>May&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;and sampling of&nbsp;construction materials.</li><li>Performs&nbsp;computations with formulas, plots data,&nbsp;and draws simple curves&nbsp;and graphs.</li><li>Assists Engineers in field during soil&nbsp;and materials investigations.</li><li>Ensures that job site&nbsp;tests/observations, including quality&nbsp;control, quality&nbsp;assurance,&nbsp;and verifications&nbsp;are performed in&nbsp;accordance with&nbsp;the&nbsp;standard&nbsp;test/observation methods, project&nbsp;specifications&nbsp;and other&nbsp;contract documents.</li><li>Prepares&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintains project records&nbsp;and reports.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of engineering,&nbsp;construction,&nbsp;testing and&nbsp;inspection principles is a strong plus.</li><li>Knowledge of materials testing - standard testing and observation methods &ndash;
