The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals as required</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to determine specifications</p></li><li><p>Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and gas flow</p></li><li><p>Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications</p></li><li><p>Clean and prepare surfaces prior to welding (grinding, cutting, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety</p></li><li><p>Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines and procedures</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel</p></li><li><p>Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship</p></li><li><p>Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</p></li><li><p>AWS Certificate&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 1&ndash;2 years of MIG welding experience (or equivalent training)</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices</p></li><li><p>Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges</p></li><li><p>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to stand for extended periods of time</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed</p></li><li><p>Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments</p></li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manufacturing or warehouse setting</p></li><li><p>Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise (proper PPE required at all times&nbsp;</p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>3rd shift - 10:00PM - 6 :30AM Sunday- Thursday ",
