    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The BIM Technician will work within the BIM department and will report to the BIM Manager. They will work closely with the BIM Coordinators and various project-level management team members. This role will provide day-to-day construction models and related content for use by the project BIM Coordinators(s) and other stakeholders. This position will be a combination of on-site at the project and in the office.</p><p><strong>Salary Range: $83,200-$119,600</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Receive, process, and archive model files from designers, project team members, and trade subcontractors.</li><li>Compile and publish federated models using Navisworks Manage.</li><li>Maintain and manage model-building automation tools.</li><li>Facilitate the exchange and coordination of the 3D model with consultants, contractors, and fabricators.</li><li>Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, clients, design team members, builders, consultants, subcontractors, and others.</li><li>Maintain model libraries throughout the project and create archive record models at completion.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Professional Experience and Education</strong></p><ul><li>Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.</li><li>Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.</li><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related industry preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Related Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams), and have a general understanding of working with a computer network.</li><li>Proficient in batch file scripting, Python, Dynamo, and BIM Flow(iConstruct).</li><li>Proficient in project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder) and Bluebeam.</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Autodesk's Navisworks Manage, including Clash Detection, Quantification, and Timeliner tools.</li><li>Experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication preferred.</li><li>Experience administering and organizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and other file sharing platforms.</li><li>Experience in organizing technical data neatly and accurately. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.</li><li>Experience with&nbsp;Building Information Model (BIM), AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.</li><li>Training in design document reading, design specifications, survey theory, and techniques.</li><li>Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate and present design and/or construction ideas to a variety of audiences.</li><li>Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.</li><li>Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.</li><li>Ability to work closely with a variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.</li><li>Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.</li><li>Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment more than 50% of the time, with the occasional requirement to move about to the construction site.</li><li>Must be able to access work being done on multiple levels.</li><li>Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally use machinery and other tools to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, and position materials.</li><li>Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment.&nbsp;The worker is required to have the ability to perform duties such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; reading printed and digital documents.</li><li>Must be able to occasionally work in proximity to loud equipment.&nbsp; Must be able to wear hearing protection as necessary.
