    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable <strong id=\"isPasted\">Breakfast Attendant</strong> for the Fairfield Inn &amp; Suites Minneapolis North/Blaine, Minnesota.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p>Greet and seat all guests and ensure a quality dining experience. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they&rsquo;ve made the right choice to stay with us.</p><ul><li>Assist in preparation, cooking and presentation of food according to standard recipes for the bistro and banquet rooms.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for greeting every guest/customers with a smile and positive attitude&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow all health codes.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures that all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures entire food selection is available daily and hours of operation are strictly adhered to.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors and inspects all food &amp; beverage deliveries, ensuring portion controls are adhered to.</li><li>Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect food and beverage outlets for proper storage, neatness, cleanliness, side-work and rotation of inventory.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with daily/weekly/monthly food and beverage inventories.</li><li>Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team&nbsp;</li><li>Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior&nbsp;</li><li>Be understanding of, encouraging to and friendly with all co-workers&nbsp;</li><li>Be self-motivated and use time wisely&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain open line of communications with each department&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate pertinent information&nbsp;</li><li>Respond positively to new ideas&nbsp;</li><li>Openly accept critical/developmental feedback&nbsp;</li><li>Be available to help other departments in emergency situations&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p><p>High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.</p><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This job requires the ability to perform the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.</li><li>&nbsp;Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.</li><li>&nbsp;Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating&nbsp;</li></ul><p>service, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Ability to prepare and analyze date, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.</li><li>&nbsp;Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.</li><li>&nbsp;Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.</li><li>&nbsp;Must possess basic computational ability.</li><li>&nbsp;Must possess basic computer skills.</li><li>&nbsp;Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.</li><li>&nbsp;Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations</li><li>Be knowledgeable about state regulations regarding health policies.</li><li>Most work tasks are performed indoors.
