Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Medical Technologist II develops and monitors test systems and performs and interprets laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination.<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li></li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<li>Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. <li>Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li></li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist </li>\n<li> Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p>OR</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Grandfathered Medical Technologist by having previously qualified as a technologist on or before February 28, 1992 and current certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.                                                                                                                                                                                           1.Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li> One (1) year experience in a clinical laboratory </li>\n<li>Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.</li>\n<li>Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>1pm to 1130pm (Every 3rd weekend rotation )\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes- Rotating Basis",
