    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p>As the Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for strategic oversight, internal coordination, and financial performance of Walbridge’s Controlled Insurance Program (CIP) and compliance with the requirements of Owner Controlled Insurance Programs the enterprise is enrolled in. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for CIP administration, working closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and General Counsel, to ensure effective program governance, compliance, cost control, and alignment with project delivery and business development objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is ideal for a risk management professional with strong financial acumen who thrives in a cross-functional, project-driven environment and can translate complex insurance and financial data into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong></p>\n<p>You will work from our Enterprise headquarters in Detroit, MI</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CCIP Governance & Oversight</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the internal point of accountability for all CCIP projects.</li>\n <li>Oversee broker and program administrator execution of contractor enrollment, payroll tracking, compliance, reporting, and closeout activities.</li>\n <li>Review and validate CCIP processes, controls, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and contractual compliance.</li>\n <li>Identify, escalate, and resolve program issues impacting project teams, subcontractors, or financial performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Program Administration Oversight</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure proper setup of CCIP projects, including scope definition, eligibility requirements, and coordination of kick-off and pre-bid meetings.</li>\n <li>Review enrollment metrics, bid deduct processes, payroll submissions, and certificate issuance for completeness and consistency.</li>\n <li>Monitor subcontractor compliance trends and direct corrective actions as needed.</li>\n <li>Oversee renewals, reporting, and subcontractor closeout activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Management, Forecasting & Analytics</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain CCIP financial models, including enrollment assumptions, payroll projections, loss forecasts, and overall program cost tracking.</li>\n <li>Monitor CCIP performance against budget and forecast, identifying financial risks and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Finance, Project Controls, and brokers to reconcile CCIP costs, credits, and allocations.</li>\n <li>Support internal audits and leadership reporting related to CCIP financial performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Internal & External Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the primary liaison between project teams, executive leadership, insurance brokers, program administrators, and carriers.</li>\n <li>Provide training and guidance to Project Executives, Project Managers, and Estimating teams on CCIP requirements, processes, and responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Ensure consistent communication practices and documentation standards across all CCIP projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience in construction risk management, insurance programs, or wrap-up administration.</li>\n <li>Direct experience with CCIPs and/or OCIPs, including enrollment, payroll, and compliance processes.</li>\n <li>Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to oversee third-party administrators, brokers, and professional service providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Ideally, You’ll Also Have</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working for a General Contractor, large construction manager, or owner.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with wrap-up administration platforms and insurance reporting tools.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting CCIP-related sales efforts or project pursuit activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Play a critical role in the strategic oversight and financial performance of enterprise insurance programs.</li>\n <li>Partner closely with executive leadership, project teams, and external stakeholders</li>\n <li>Contribute to risk management excellence across complex, high-impact construction projects.</li>\n <li>Be part of a collaborative, values-driven organization committed to continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Excited to make an impact?
