We attribute our success to our commitment to quality.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>General:&nbsp;</strong>To be a motivated, focused, organized, self-starting individual that will integrate themselves into our fast-paced manufacturing environment. &nbsp;To utilize the skills gained from education and work experience to systematically implement continuous improvement. &nbsp;To professionally communicate &amp; facilitate with all personnel in MACI. &nbsp; To ethically support the policy and goals of MACI &amp; the production engineering department and its management.</p><p><strong>Specific:&nbsp;</strong>Machine safety enhancement; process troubleshooting, root cause analysis; short period stops, downtime, defect &amp; cost reduction; PLC &amp; CNC programming &amp; troubleshooting; feasibility &amp; time study; schedule, budget, &amp; project management; production control charts &amp; PFMEA document maintenance; tool testing &amp; improvement; machine design improvement, visual presentation making &amp; delivery, data procurement and analysis, equipment procurement, &amp; supplier development.</p><p><strong>Educational Background</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong> Bachelor of Science or Science &amp; Technology discipline related to the Manufacturing environment.</p><p><strong>Desired:&nbsp;</strong>Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering. Machining and or aluminum casting experience is a plus.</p><p><strong>Work Experience</strong></p><p><strong>Required:&nbsp;</strong>Manufacturing experience in machine and/or process operation, skilled trades work, administrative duties, engineering experience. &nbsp;Preferred: &nbsp;High output automotive industry experience; internship experience; examples of work history and duties performed along with references.</p><p><strong>Desired:&nbsp;</strong>Hands on manufacturing floor experience within production processes; willing to assume a hands-on role. Trained technical skills in production processes, design, tooling, programming. &nbsp; Ability to deliver presentations/speeches, engage in teamwork, and effectively communicate.
