The Team Leader Relief will be responsible for overall safety, quality and productivity results. The Team Leader Relief performs changeovers, trouble-shooting and on-line repairs during production. The Team Leader Relief will report to maintenance with a dotted line to production. <strong>When not scheduled as a team leader they will assume the job duties of a line mechanic.</strong></p><p>Starting Team Lead Relief positions will likely work on the plant&#39;s 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am CST, Monday-Friday. There may be a need to work any off shift; 2nd and 3rd shifts provide shift pay differential. There may be weekend shift work required. This position has a set starting hourly pay rate, per CBA.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What You&#39;ll Do:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Operate equipment per SOP&rsquo;s (standard operating procedures) and create / update such documents as required.</li><li>Perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of all equipment starting with the unloading equipment through the take-off lanes.</li><li>Conduct quality control checks in accordance with ACH Foods policy, with the assistance of the line operators to correct deficiencies as required.</li><li>Change filters and oil flow valves for scheduled product changeovers and control inlet oil and outlet dump tank.</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal &amp; external stakeholders to accomplish goals.</li><li>Participate in the identification of root cause &amp; document the findings in the downtime tracking system; document any adjustments made to equipment in the logbook.</li><li>Generate future corrective lists to minimize future downtime in logbook</li><li>Changeovers can include but are not limited to container size, cleaner, filler, capper, rails after depalletizer thru the line and up to the palletizer.</li><li>Assist materials coordinator in correctly changing over case packer.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning, inspection and lubrication (CIL) as needed.</li><li>Provide aid to line operators and material coordinator to ensure proper amounts of packaging supplies for all changeovers.</li><li>Perform repairs on any equipment from truck unloading through product storage.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring proper line area GMP (good manufacturing practices) and sanitation is taking place.</li><li>Assist with training new &amp; existing operators to perform their assigned duties on the line.</li><li>Lead and participate in focused improvement events to drive improved line performance.</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by production/maintenance supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What You&#39;ll Need:</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent education (i.e. GED)</li><li>3 to 5 years industrial experience preferably in a food manufacturing or packaging environment.</li><li>Must be an experienced operator with the ability to perform skilled mechanical adjustments with strong leadership aptitude</li><li>Journeyman Mechanic skills required&nbsp;</li><li>Training in mechanical systems including hydraulic &amp; pneumatic systems, plumbing, piping systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems is beneficial.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.&nbsp;</li><li>Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to push, pull, lift; up to 50 pounds, as required.</li><li>Ability to lead by example, to demonstrate team leadership by providing information, coaching, training and counseling to ensure team effectiveness</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li></ul><p>This position is subject to a mechanical skill competency test to assist in determining qualifications, in accordance with CBA.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What We Offer:</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Comprehensive PPO Medical Plan</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Free Vision Insurance</li><li>100% 401(k) Matching Program</li><li>On-site Gym</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Pay Rate Range:</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Pay rate for this role is $37.65 per hour</li><li>Pay rate is in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement.</li><li>Starting rate for this position is aligned with pay rate structure for the full rate of the job,</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Benefits:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Employees at ACH Food Companies, Inc. enjoy a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support you throughout your employment.
