Oversees the planning, development, implementation and support of hospital information systems. Supervises analyst/project staff. Develops testing strategies according to system build and downstream system requirements. Oversees and assists the hospital with the development of a training plan. Ensures that systems are implemented and functioning under the guidance of acceptable University policies and procedures and meet all regulatory requirements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Develops and manages complex projects. </li>\n   <li>Recommends resource planning and support needs to ensure successful project implementation.</li>\n   <li>Oversees the design and development of application programs from analysis to implementation and assists with these duties as needed. </li>\n   <li>Coordinates the installation of software and/or hardware. Works in concert with other HST/IS&T Departments pertaining to the planning and implementation of systems to ensure that HST/IS&T standards are met. </li>\n   <li>Interacts with end users, vendors and other related participants to ensure proper testing, implementation and utilization of systems. </li>\n   <li>Provides input to the formulation of departmental policies and procedures. </li>\n   <li>Oversees the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to implementing and supporting systems. </li>\n   <li>Develops and manages program to deliver effective training to the user community and enhance proper system usage by users. </li>\n   <li>Participates on specific committees.
