    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.43.16/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong>Shuttle Operator II - Non-CDL&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; This position follows all provisions of the UTU/SMART TD collective bargaining agreement.</p><p><strong>REPORTS TO: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Parking Supervisor</p><p><strong>LOCATION: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong>ALB</p><p><strong>AIRPORT: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Albany International Airport</p><p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Drives shuttle vehicle to transport traveling public to and from the airport terminal and parking lots by performing the following duties.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. &nbsp;Other duties may be assigned.&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Drives shuttle vehicle continuously over a predetermined route in accordance with performance standards</li><li>Provides superior and courteous customer service.</li><li>Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.</li><li>Assists passengers with luggage when time permits</li><li>Secures passengers&rsquo; wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.</li><li>Operates radio or similar device to communicate with basic station or other vehicles to report disruption of services.</li><li>Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants and accessories.</li><li>Keep records of trips and behavior of passengers.</li><li>Advises Vehicle Maintenance Department of any need for repairs or maintenance.</li><li>Participates in Total Quality Management program, and Goal Setting program.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. &nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence. &nbsp;Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p><p>Valid drivers license required.
