As a Therapy Technician, you will: • Assist the therapist in treating patients • Transport patients to and from scheduled activities (teams, therapy, dining) • Ordering patient durable medical equipment for discharge • Inventory of supplies and documents • Communicating schedule changes to patients and families • Cleaning of equipment (wheelchairs, durable medical equipment, mats) • Additional duties as assigned Qualifications include: •High School diploma or GED required •Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Maryland required •Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required •Basic computer skills/proficiency with Word and Excel required •Good verbal and written communication skills •Previous experience in a therapy/rehab setting or healthcare setting preferred •Enthusiastic, driven individual; works well in team environment; self-motivated preferred Work Schedule: Employment Type: Per Diem Typical Daily Schedule: Weekends Holiday Requirements: Two holidays a year (including a winter holiday) Shift: Day Compensation: This position is per diem at a rate of $23/hour Weekend Requirements: As listed in daily schedule Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
