Central to the school's mission is teaching students to think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly. Students at the elementary participate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) School, where the focus is to have engaging, relevant, challenging and significant learning that focuses around six global themes.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Providence Hall seeks a highly skilled and enthusiastic part-time elementary (K-5th) teacher's aide to join our team. As a Providence Hall elementary teacher's aide you will be assigned to provide part-time classroom support to a teacher or teachers in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support the learning environment and assist in the daily activities of the elementary classroom in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Supervise students to maintain a safety, healthy, and nurturing environment in a classroom setting and outside the classroom setting (e.g., hallways, lunch) and inside and outside environments (e.g., pick up/drop off, recess).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Keep both the inside and outside school environment clean and orderly by picking up materials, wiping/cleaning tables and other school furniture and fixtures, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefit for students.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor work, correct papers, and supervise curriculum-based testing and makeup work as assigned.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with colleagues to support the school.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain effective communication channels to ensure a collaborative learning community.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Actively participate in assigned meetings, professional developments, and other trainings.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Previous experience working with children, in an instructional setting preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Positive interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain calm in high-stress situations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Willing to effectively problem-solve as needed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and its collaboration tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
