Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&amp;D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.</span></p><p><span><strong>GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:</strong></span></p><p><span>The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, &amp; III). The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime. The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p><span>Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform routine inspections per quality standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understand production instructions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain accurate paperwork.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:&nbsp;</strong>No formal education required.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:&nbsp;</strong>No prior experience or training.&nbsp;</span></p><p><i><span><strong>OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></i></p><p><span><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:&nbsp;</strong>Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.</span></p><p><span><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p><span>Ability to function effectively in a team setting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrates reliability, flexibility, and dependability</span></p></li><li><p><span>Models the values and expectations of 168 - integrity, responsible entrepreneurship, commitment and moral courage.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrates accepted ethical and professional business behavior.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Executes ISO authority and responsibility.
