This role is essential to our recycling process, involving the pickup and delivery of Gondola and flatbed trailers as well as roll-off boxes. You&rsquo;ll interact with customers, operate equipment and help move scrap materials safely and efficiently. As a CDL Driver with us, you&rsquo;re not just behind the wheel, you&rsquo;re at the heart of the recycling process. You&rsquo;ll play a key role in collecting and transporting recyclable metal materials from the customer sites to our processing yard, helping turn waste into opportunity. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, customer-focused, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</p><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Key Responsibilities</h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completes 3-5 local runs daily, depending on customer needs. Trips can be local or over an hour away.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in managing container inventory to ensure roll-off boxes are in appropriate locations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pick up and deliver containers to Alter facilities or customer sites.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Secure loads based on truck and container type or have load repositioned for safe transport.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate customer details and deliver updates to office.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with equipment operation within the yard to load or move and process scrap material</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to all company safety protocols, including PPE and monthly safety meetings.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Qualifications</h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Valid Class <strong>A CDL</strong> or Class <strong>B CDL&nbsp;</strong>(for straight truck) license.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Automatic restriction accepted, later or new model trucks.</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Load securement knowledge a must.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Ability to lift 30&ndash;50 lbs. regularly and up to 100+ lbs. with assistance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;General knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
