This position will lead the team and manage a range of activities critical to ensuring operational readiness, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Manage the day-to-day activities&nbsp;of the Readiness &amp; IVR team, including task assignment, performance management, and professional development of Readiness Coordinators.</li><li>Oversee the planning and execution&nbsp;of Readiness Reviews, Management Self-Assessments, IVRs for SEO-operated nuclear facilities.</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert&nbsp;and provides guidance to the team and customer organizations on the implementation of readiness and verification processes in accordance with DOE Order 425.1D.</li></ul></li><li>Manage team performance&nbsp;by establishing clear expectations, monitoring key process metrics (e.g., reviewing schedules, finding closure rates), and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues.</li><li>Ensure the quality and timely submission&nbsp;of all readiness-related deliverables, including Readiness Applicability Determinations, Startup Notification Reports, and final IVR reports.</li><li>Facilitate communication and information flow&nbsp;between the readiness team, facility management, engineering, and federal (NNSA/NFO) counterparts throughout the readiness lifecycle.</li><li>Perform other duties as directed by leadership to support the broader needs of the Nuclear Support Services organization and the SEO mission.</li><li>Promote ‘organizational learning’ concepts&nbsp;by ensuring that lessons learned from readiness activities are identified, documented, and shared to improve future performance.</li><li>Create an environment where employees feel safe to raise issues,&nbsp;empowered to hold the line on safety and compliance, and supported to resolve challenges.</li></ul>",
