We are known as experts in engineering, manufacturing, and servicing innovative automated materials handling systems including conveyors, automatic guided vehicles, automated storage & retrieval systems, and integrated controls.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The company is currently seeking an experienced <strong>Warehouse Supervisor.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Reports to the Field Operations Manager and is responsible to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of products, and maintaining warehouse safety.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Major Areas of Responsibility</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping</li>\n <li>Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks</li>\n <li>Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching</li>\n <li>Monitor employee performance and productivity</li>\n <li>Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately</li>\n <li>Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments</li>\n <li>Track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records</li>\n <li>Conduct inventory counts and resolve discrepancies</li>\n <li>Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods</li>\n <li>Enforce warehouse safety procedures and regulations</li>\n <li>Conduct safety inspections and address hazards</li>\n <li>Oversee use and maintenance of warehouse equipment</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Communicate with management, suppliers, and logistics teams</li>\n <li>Prepare reports on warehouse performance and operations</li>\n <li>Resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Broad Knowledge as Follows</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of conveyor installation, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of the methods, electrical, controls, materials, and equipment used in the conveyor installation.</li>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of State and Federal codes and regulations.</li>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills & Abilities as Follows</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highly organized</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (written & oral).</li>\n <li>The ability to read blue prints, layout header steel, rail, screen guard, rail systems, automation equipment, ect.</li>\n <li>Experience in the operation of moderately heavy equipment (ie: man lift).</li>\n <li>Must be able to schedule work flow and staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma, supplemented by journeyman’s training in the skill trades, or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.</li>\n <li>Ten years of field experience.</li>\n <li>Five years of experience supervising trade employees</li>\n <li>30 hours of OSHA safety training, preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with using computers as a tool of reporting.</li>\n <li>Experience in the administrative activities with sub-contractors.</li>\n <li>Experience as a journeyman tradesman in the performance of responsible conveyor activities is necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated Physical Abilities as Follows: </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of maneuvering through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating screen guards lifting and carrying objects up to 40 lbs.</li>\n <li>Able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). </li>\n <li>Communicate with others through talking/hearing; reading/identify/assess forms and correspondence.</li>\n <li>Must be able to travel between projects.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work flexible hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Daifuku Airport America Corporation is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled, and federal sub/contractor.
