    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Storage Administrator</strong> to join our team supporting an ITES task order. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years of experience in enterprise data storage system design, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Three (3) years maintaining enterprise storage/network policies and standards.</li>\n <li>Three (3) years of experience performing data environment refreshes at developer request.</li>\n <li>Three (3) working with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Three or more years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Three (3) years administering storage networks and managing VMware 7.x or later.</li>\n <li>Three (3) years of experience with IP-based network communication.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019, Solaris 11, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Three (3) years supporting cybersecurity practices such as STIGs, SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA.</li>\n <li>Experience scripting in PowerShell and Bash; strong command-line interface (CLI) skills.</li>\n <li>Strong CLI skills</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CompTIA Security+.</li>\n <li>Computing Environment (CE) Certification (can be waived for 30 days after project join date.)\n  <ul>\n   <li>Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).</li>\n   <li>Server+.</li>\n   <li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Secret – IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive Clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support enterprise storage systems and associated server environments.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with OS and Storage teams to support ALTESS infrastructure and its customers.</li>\n <li>Implement new hardware and software solutions, contributing to the development of local operating procedures and policies.</li>\n <li>Monitor system operations and generate utilization reports to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Recommend, demonstrate, and implement new technologies to optimize and expand existing infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Ensure the security, stability, and high availability of enterprise data storage systems.</li>\n <li>Maintain storage and network policies and standards aligned with organizational requirements.</li>\n <li>Refresh data environments as requested by application development teams.</li>\n <li>Develop, document, and follow Standard Operating Procedures for system operations, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Administer storage solutions across MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments.</li>\n <li>Manage storage networks and environments integrated with VMware 7.x or higher.</li>\n <li>Configure and support network communication and backup software across multiple platforms.</li>\n <li>Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell and Bash; perform advanced command-line operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
