    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to completion, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams. The role also involves scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft employee activities, which may include supervising various trade groups (electricians, boilermakers, and carpenters) in different construction disciplines such as, civil, structural, electrical.  </p>\n<p>Walbridge is looking for Superintendents that know how to and love to build!  </p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong></p>\n<p>You can be located anywhere in the US, if you are highly willing to travel to our client projects on a long-term basis. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Project Planning and Strategy: </strong>Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules. Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules.</li>\n   <li><strong>Team Leadership: </strong>Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors. Resolve construction problems and maintain communication with unions.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Resource Management: </strong>Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures. Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement: </strong>Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Performance Monitoring: </strong>Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Quality Assurance: </strong>Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Innovation and Improvement: </strong>Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong> </strong></p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>To qualify for the role, you must have</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>A high school diploma or equivalent, and eight (8) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.</li>\n   <li>Must have experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.</li>\n   <li>A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Ideally, you’ll also have</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, and cost control.</li>\n   <li>Experience supervising, motivating and mentoring cross-functional teams. </li>\n   <li>Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Skills and attributes for success </strong> </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.</li>\n   <li>Successful background in maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes.</li>\n   <li>Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing project requirements.</li>\n  </ul><p> </p><p>Excited to make an impact?
