Applicant must be flexible with their time and location needs. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Location: Will Float to Different Clnics</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Home Clinic - 906 W University Ave, Ste 120; Flagstaff, AZ 86001</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Position Type: Part Time</p>\n<p>Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am-1pm, 5 days per week)</p>\n<p>Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00/hour - based on experience </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Check out the video below for additional insight into the work of our Patient Service Specialists! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out</li>\n <li>Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone</li>\n <li>Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team</li>\n <li>Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>1 Year of Medical Office Experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 Year of Front Desk Experience</li>\n <li>Insurance Verification Experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a work day/shift</li>\n <li>Appropriate manual dexterity to enable typing (including10-key) throughout a work day/shift</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 25lbs, safely, from ground to waist using proper body mechanics</li>\n <li>Ability to carry office supplies up to 10lbs</li>\n <li>Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written direction</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p>Go Anywhere with Us! 1900 centers in 39 states offering internal movement</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
