    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Responsible for using equipment to maintain golf course in the condition needed for a world-class golf facility.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Operates golf course equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Rakes sand traps and walk-mows greens and tees.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Uses Flymo and Weed Eater to trim course.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Cleans debris from course and operates backpack blowers to remove debris.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Places sod as needed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Cleans and lubricates equipment after use.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &nbsp;</strong>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one or more years work experience desired.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p><p>S.C. driver&#39;s license</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>JOB SKILLS REQUIRED</strong></p><p>Ability to use small machines, machine tools, and hand tools.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. &nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. &nbsp; Must be able to recognize when a machine is not working properly and to make the proper decision regarding use or need for repair. &nbsp;May be assigned responsibility for care of a particular machine.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SOCIAL SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to communicate well with other staff members and supervisors. &nbsp; Ability to learn and practice rules of golf etiquette with respect to working around playing golfers. &nbsp;Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with members and guests.</p><p><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS &nbsp;</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. &nbsp;The employee frequently is required to walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch. &nbsp;The employee is occasionally required to sit. &nbsp;The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &nbsp;</strong>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
