    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.41.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">IFI is seeking to hire a remote<em>,&nbsp;</em><strong>Medical Billing Specialist</strong></p><p><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.41.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></p><div class=\"fr-view\"><p data-pasted=\"true\">International Fertility Insurance is a rapidly growing company of surrogacy insurance experts and case management professionals that provide unsurpassed support and education to intended parents seeking peace of mind as they grow their families. &nbsp;We pride ourselves in providing compassionate, professional service throughout our clients&rsquo; surrogacy journeys. &nbsp;We have experience supporting intended parents worldwide and work with surrogacy agencies, attorneys, and fertility clinics across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Israel, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. &nbsp;We collaborate with more than 100 insurance companies to find the best option to meet the needs of intended parents. &nbsp;Learn more about us at <a href=\"https://www.goifi.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.goifi.com</a>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>What you&rsquo;ll do:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manages Medical Billing for maternity services while maintaining accurate tracking through spreadsheets and organizational systems.</li><li>Communicates via email and phone with Gestational Carriers, Intended parents, Agencies, and Intra-department staff consistently and professionally.&nbsp;</li><li>Conveys to Gestational Carriers our expectations and their responsibilities as a self-pay surrogate.</li><li>Interacts with providers, billing departments, financial counselors, and other various departments to ensure bills are paid while obtaining the maximum discount possible.</li><li>Proactively contacts providers for prepayment, when necessary.</li><li>Obtains cost estimates as needed.</li><li>Analyses all bills, identifies errors, and follows up with providers to ensure resolution.</li><li>Enters accurate payment information into all trackers and systems, while working closely with the accounting team.</li><li>Manages escrow funds while actively communicating to agencies and the accounting team.</li><li>Identifies cases that may be at risk of exceeding the normal and customary charges to anticipate the need to file a claim to Lloyd&rsquo;s of London.</li><li>Prepares and completes claim ledgers and documentation needed for a Lloyd&rsquo;s of London claim.</li><li>Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>What you need to succeed:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Experience with medical billing and insurance</li><li>Experience in third-party reproduction, IVF, OBGYN or surrogacy-related fields</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively</li><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Experience Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients, professional partners, and internal teams</li><li>Ability to present and explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically to diverse audiences</li><li>Medical Billing and/or coding certification or related&nbsp;associate degree preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p>IFI and its companies are equal opportunity employers.
