The ideal candidate will have knowledge in various Plumbing and HVAC system designs, project coordination, and industry codes and standards. This role involves working on design projects, communicating with clients and architects, and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to deliver innovative Plumbing and HVAC solutions for various sectors including commercial, retail/hospitality, industrial, healthcare, aviation, transportation (rail/transit/ports), education, and civic/community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Key Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Provide the design, analysis, and implementation of Plumbing and HVAC systems for various projects.</em></li>\n<li><em>Develop detailed Plumbing and HVAC drawings, specifications, and schematics using CAD and BIM software.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Ability to size equipment, perform calculations, and design plumbing systems including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, grease waste, storm drain, booster pumps, sewage ejectors, sump pumps, natural gas, compressed air, acid waste, medical gas, and basic fire protection.</em></li>\n<li><em>Perform HVAC load calculations, energy analysis, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selections to optimize system performance.</em></li>\n<li><em>Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and sustainability requirements.</em></li>\n<li><em>Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplines to define project scope and integrate Plumbing and HVAC systems seamlessly.</em></li>\n<li><em>Provide </em><em>technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Review and approve project documentation including calculations, equipment schedules, construction drawings, RFI’s, and submittals.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Conduct site inspections to verify existing conditions and ensure installation compliance.</em></li>\n<li><em>Stay current with emerging Plumbing and HVAC technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.</em></li>\n<li><em>Participate in project planning, report writing, budgeting, and scheduling activities.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Qualifications and skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Minimum qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>3-6 years of experience in Plumbing and HVAC system design and engineering for facilities/buildings.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.</em></li>\n<li><em>Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple projects concurrently, and motivate multi-discipline project teams in meeting client needs in a timely manner and within budget objectives.</em></li>\n<li><em>Strong project management and leadership capabilities.</em></li>\n<li><em>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.</em></li>\n<li><em>Strong organizational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm.</em></li>\n<li><em>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).</em></li>\n<li><em>Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD design software.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Preferred qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or CPD certification is a plus.</em></li>\n<li><em>EIT or Professional Engineer License is a plus.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
