Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Candidates should be able to work the following shift: Monday-Friday 2PM-10PM</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong>&nbsp;</div><div><ul><li>Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations</li><li>Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility</li><li>Handles items in accordance with operating procedures</li><li>Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required</li><li>Operates transport vehicles both on and off property</li><li>Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle</li><li>Maintains vehicle mileage records</li><li>Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary</li><li>Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues</li><li>Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
