    "description": "<p><strong>These are long term permanent positions with a highly respected and growing Employee-owned Design Build&nbsp;Construction Firm!</strong><br />\r\n<br />\r\nSUMMARY:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Electrician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of electrical systems and associated processes.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Regular attendance at assigned location; may include A/Z office or other project site;</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows blueprints, insuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings and flooring;</li>\r\n\t<li>Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit, using such tools as hacksaw, pipe threader and conduit bender;</li>\r\n\t<li>Oversees or participates in wire installation with conduit and cable trays;</li>\r\n\t<li>Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools;</li>\r\n\t<li>Connects power cables to equipment, such as motor, and installs grounding leads;</li>\r\n\t<li>Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing instruments, such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope;</li>\r\n\t<li>Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement;</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other routine duties as directed by workplace leader, electrical panels, and standby generation;</li>\r\n\t<li>Avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes, redlining drawings, complete documentation with as found and as left conditions;</li>\r\n\t<li>Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in site housekeeping;</li>\r\n\t<li>Interact with co-workers in an attentive courteous manner;</li>\r\n\t<li>Additional duties as directed by management.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
