We are seeking a <strong>Maintenance Mechanic Specialist III</strong> to support and oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability. This Individual will:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed skilled, trained and certified in one of the competency areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam control, and related building systems and equipment. </li>\n <li>Practicing under the guidance of a licensed professional. Provides guidance to maintenance mechanics and assigns and schedules work.</li>\n <li> Interprets departmental and organizational policies and procedures for staff to ensure consistent practices.</li>\n <li> Picks-up and distributes work assignments and gives direction to ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Schedules, monitors and directs workflow. </li>\n <li>Observes and reviews work produced by staff to maintain efficiency and timely services.</li>\n <li> Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, schematics and written technical documents of general machineries to locate area of trouble and complete repairs accurately. </li>\n <li>Performs preventive maintenance on related equipment, buildings and building systems to ensure safe and proper operations.</li>\n <li>Shuts down equipment prior to scheduled repairs if necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Minimum of ten years of experience in building maintenance with supportive licensure or degree in building maintenance OR 20 years of experience in one or more of the competency areas. </li>\n <li>Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.</li>\n <li> Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!</strong> Emory Healthcare (EHC), part of Emory University (EUV), is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia and the first and only in Georgia with a Magnet® designated ambulatory practice.
