    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Controller - Oakland/East Bay Area, CA (On Site) </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We’re partnering with a stable, privately held manufacturing company with decades of success serving highly regulated, quality-driven industries.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, building structure, and partnering closely with operations and ownership.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is ideal for someone coming from manufacturing, construction, industrial, plastics, engineering, or other operationally complex environments who wants more visibility and influence inside the business.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Scope:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and improve the month-end close process</li>\n<li>Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, reconciliations, and financial accuracy</li>\n<li>Analyze margins, operational costs, and profitability trends</li>\n<li>Partner directly with ownership and leadership on financial planning and business decisions</li>\n<li>Improve reporting, accountability, and accounting processes across the organization</li>\n<li>Support ERP optimization and operational reporting improvements</li>\n<li>Mentor and develop a long-tenured accounting team</li>\n<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Requirements: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience</li>\n<li>Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager</li>\n<li>Strong month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience</li>\n<li>Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience required</li>\n<li>Manufacturing, construction, industrial, or project-based accounting experience highly preferred</li>\n<li>Cost accounting, job costing, margin analysis, or operational finance exposure preferred</li>\n<li>Process improvement mindset with a willingness to be hands-on</li>\n<li>CPA is a plus, not required</li>\n<li>Skills in data modeling </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Excel required, ERP experience required, IQMS / DELMIAWorks experience highly preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Details:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>$130,000/yr+ </li>\n<li>Stable, privately held company with long-term customer relationships</li>\n<li>High-visibility role with direct access to ownership</li>\n<li>Opportunity to modernize processes and make a measurable impact</li>\n<li>Strong compensation package including bonus, benefits, PTO, and 401(k)</li>\n<li>Long-term growth potential within leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Additional Details</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onsite role in the East Bay Area, CA</li>\n<li>No remote options</li>\n<li>No visa sponsorship available <br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you are an assistant controller, accounting manager, senior accounting manager, or controller and you're ready to step into a leadership position over a more high-performance team where you can implement efficient SOPs and make noticeable process improvements -- we welcome your application! </p>\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n",
