Description Your Role As the Product Manager Consultant at Blue Shield of California, you will be a strategic leader within the Member Engagement Engine / Clinical Engagement Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are tasked with defining the strategic direction and overseeing the execution of digital engagement initiatives that personalize member experiences. Your role is vital in leveraging digital technologies to guide members toward cost-effective, high-quality healthcare services, in alignment with our mission to enhance health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through effective digital interventions. Responsibilities Your Work In this role, you will: Lead the development and execution of a digital personalization strategy that integrates clinical insights with member data to deliver highly personalized health experiences. Oversee the mapping of member journeys to ensure digital touchpoints effectively enhance member engagement and drive health outcomes Collaborate with backend integration and vendor management teams to ensure digital tools and platforms are optimally aligned with personalization goals Define and refine data requirements and personalization parameters in conjunction with IT, Data Analytics, and Health Solutions teams to support scalable and effective digital health programs Develop and manage a comprehensive digital roadmap that supports our future vision around clinical engagement, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to member needs and industry trends Create and present business cases for investments in personalization solutions that align to our teams goals and advance cost of health care initiatives Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of digital clinical programs, focusing on care gap identification, prioritization, and intervention strategies Evaluate and leverage advanced analytics and machine learning technologies to enhance predictive modeling capabilities and improve decision-making processes Ensure all digital engagement initiatives comply with healthcare regulations and privacy standards, maintaining the highest levels of data integrity and security Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders on the progress, impact, and strategic adjustments of digital personalization initiatives Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to track engagement, journey performance, care gap closure, and cost-of-care savings Use analytics, segmentation, and predictive insights to continuously improve campaign design and member targeting Lead agile backlog prioritization for campaign iterations, quick wins, and longer-term personalization enhancements Qualifications Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Graduate degree is highly desirable Requires at least 6 years of prior relevant experience in digital product management, digital health strategy, or management consulting with a focus on personalization and clinical engagement preferred Extensive experience in leading digital health initiatives, with a proven track record in developing and implementing personalization strategies Understanding of population health management and its application in digital engagement platforms Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive strategy and innovation in a complex healthcare environment Expertise in data analytics, user experience design, and predictive modeling to enhance personalization and member engagement Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams and interact with diverse stakeholders Experience with AI and machine learning tools in a healthcare setting highly preferred Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility.
