Join us as an <b>Estimator</b>, where you’ll play a critical role in developing accurate, defensible cost estimates that drive planning and execution across Centrus’ most impactful programs.</p>\n <p>This is an opportunity to grow your expertise in a fast‑paced, highly regulated project environment while working closely with experienced professionals across Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and more.</p>\n <p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Maintain and improve Centrus’ estimating standards, procedures, and tools to ensure consistency and high quality across all projects.</li>\n  <li>Collaborate with Project Controls teams—including planning &amp; scheduling, forecasting, work packaging, and change management—to ensure cohesive cost alignment.</li>\n  <li>Prepare the inputs, procedures, labor/equipment rates, and other resources required to build accurate AACE Class 5 through Class 1 estimates.</li>\n  <li>Translate estimate plans into detailed project budgets supporting engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, testing, and operations.</li>\n  <li>Support the establishment and adjustment (baseline and re‑baseline) of project budgets; identify deviations and assist in issue resolution.</li>\n  <li>Partner closely with Contracts &amp; Procurement to validate pricing, support negotiations, and assess change orders.</li>\n  <li>Assist project teams with cost‑impact assessments for scope changes and risk events.</li>\n  <li>Contribute to risk and contingency planning efforts.</li>\n  <li>Support dispute resolution and claims analysis, including forensic-level cost review when needed.</li>\n </ul>\n <p><b>What You'll Bring</b></p>\n <p>You’ll thrive in this role if you have:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.</li>\n  <li>2+ years of experience in heavy industrial, EPC, or similar project environments—experience in nuclear or defense programs is a strong plus.</li>\n  <li>Hands‑on experience developing estimates aligned with AACE cost classes.</li>\n  <li>Familiarity with estimating tools commonly used by EPC contractors.</li>\n  <li>Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving abilities—someone who asks the right questions to uncover the right details.</li>\n  <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with technical and non‑technical teams alike.</li>\n  <li>Understanding of how cost, schedule, and risk integrate within project controls.</li>\n  <li>Experience with tools such as ProPricer, InEight, Sage, Open Plan, or similar systems.</li>\n  <li>A Q Clearance or the ability to obtain one.</li>\n  <li>A desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally.</li>\n </ul>\n <p><b>Why You’ll Love Working Here</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>The opportunity to shape cost strategy for high‑impact, highly visible projects.</li>\n  <li>A collaborative environment where your insights influence project execution.</li>\n  <li>Professional development and growth opportunities within Project Controls and beyond.</li>\n  <li>A mission-driven workplace supporting national security and clean-energy advancement.</li>\n </ul>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
