Leveraging their expertise in systems engineering and cybersecurity, they work on a range of responsibilities including systems architecture development, safety analysis, risk management, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations. Their commitment to problem-solving, technical project management, and team leadership enables them to effectively address technical issues, optimize system design, and contribute to the development of secure aeronautic systems.</p><p><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Systems architecture development, requirements definition &amp; decomposition, concept of operations, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integration</li><li>Responsibility also includes project management, use and deployment of tools, technology and manufacturing assessments, and internal and external interactions</li><li>Plan, execute, and troubleshoot complex systems integration to validate interface definition and system requirements of airplane network systems</li><li>Perform risk management and trade study analyses&nbsp;</li><li>Work with other teams to resolve technical issues</li><li>Provide analytical and problem-solving skills to accomplish optimal system design and integration</li><li>Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned</li></ul><p><br><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with airplane software certification RTCA DO-178</li><li>Experience with airplane networks and communication systems</li><li>Basic knowledge of network protocols, routing table definitions, and network architecture definitions</li><li>Experience with test procedures, lab testing and troubleshooting</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications</li><li>Experience with Development Assurance, Certification and Safety Analysis</li><li>Customer focus and ability to jump to the hottest &ldquo;fire&rdquo; and contribute to problem solutions</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree and 2-5 years&#39; and/or advanced degree with &lt; 2 years&rsquo; experience. An accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Preference for accreditation to come from ABET. Ability to support requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
