This role typically involves standing for extended periods—often for 8 hours or more during a shift.  \n<strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u> :</strong> \n<ul>\n <li><strong>Incident Reporting:</strong> Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.</li>\n <li><strong>Maintain a visible security presence:</strong> Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.</li>\n <li><strong>Threat Assessment:</strong> Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Communication:</strong> Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.</li>\n <li><strong>Assist customers and staff</strong>: By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.</li>\n <li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation and Record Keeping:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u> :</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid<strong> Ontario Security License.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.</li>\n <li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>Benefits</u>:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong><u>Disclaimer</u>:</strong> As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
