Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.</p>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Utility Technician contributes to ION Solar by submitting pre and post installation applications to the utility companies that service our customers to get permissions for installation and system energization.</p>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n\t<li>Submission of pre or post-installation applications to various utility companies</li>\n\t<li>Proactive communication with customers and utility companies through various channels (phone, email, text)</li>\n\t<li>Management of timelines from submission to approval with various utility companies</li>\n\t<li>Interdepartmental communication and collaboration to resolve problems</li>\n\t<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n\t<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n\t<li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li>\n\t<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>\n\t<li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li>\n\t<li>Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n\t<li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li>\n\t<li>Customer service experience required</li>\n\t<li>Solar experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.</p>\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
