This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure compliance with federal (OSHA), state, and local regulations.</p>\n<p>The Construction Safety Engineer will work closely with project teams and subcontractors to identify hazards, conduct site evaluations, investigate incidents, and drive continuous safety improvement across construction operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist in developing, communicating, and enforcing corporate safety policies and procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide technical safety guidance to field teams and subcontractors to ensure regulatory compliance.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in subcontractor Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review subcontractor Site-Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) prior to mobilization.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conduct routine site inspections and identify safety deficiencies; recommend corrective actions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform regular audits to proactively identify hazards and ensure a safe working environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support incident investigations using root cause analysis and help implement preventive measures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review subcontractor safety training documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Attend and review subcontractor Toolbox Talks for proper documentation and effectiveness.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with project teams to promote a strong culture of safety.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Degree in Construction, Safety, or Engineering preferred.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>10+ years of experience in construction health and safety.</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Understanding of construction safety practices and technologies.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Analytical and problem-solving abilities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Capable of working independently and within a team.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Attributes</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Interest in large-scale industrial or semiconductor facility construction.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Strong independent thinking and research capabilities.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Ability to innovate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Schedule</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Monday–Friday</p></li>\n <li><p>8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM</p></li>\n <li><p>On-site in Phoenix, AZ</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
