The ideal candidate will assist in resolving complex network issues that have been escalated from the first-line support team. This role involves working closely with senior engineers to ensure network stability and performance.</strong></p><p><strong>This is a fully on-site role based in Winston-Salem, NC. Candidates must currently reside in North Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to start.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide advanced technical support for escalated network issues.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems involving routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.</li><li>Collaborate with senior engineers to diagnose and fix network performance issues.</li><li>Monitor network performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability.</li><li>Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.</li><li>Assist in the implementation and configuration of network hardware and software.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).</li><li>Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.</li><li>Knowledge of both wired and wireless networking</li><li>Knowledge of network security principles and practices.</li><li>Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent are a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience with Networking Vendors</strong>:</p><p>Exposure to or hands on experience with one or more of the following vendor technologies is highly beneficial.</p><ul><li>Cisco Meraki</li><li>HP/Aruba</li><li>Ruckus</li><li>WatchGuard</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
