The successful candidate will be one of the leaders on the NetSuite development team, providing technical expertise and guidance while working closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions. This is a client-facing consulting role that requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and mentor members of the NetSuite development team, providing technical guidance and support. </li>\n <li>Design, develop, and implement customizations, integrations, and enhancements within the NetSuite platform. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers and clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. </li>\n <li>Strong relationship building and excellent spoken and written communication skills. </li>\n <li>Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards to maintain high-quality standards.</li>\n <li>Develop and execute test plans and test cases; design test automation for unit, functional, performance, and scalability testing. </li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineers across all levels. </li>\n <li>Act as a client advisor by leading discovery sessions, showcasing NetSuite features, and offering guidance on best practices.</li>\n <li>Stay current with NetSuite updates, new features, and best practices to provide clients with the most effective solutions. </li>\n <li>Train, mentor and/or serve as performance coach to Engineer I’s and Engineer II’s. </li>\n <li>Delegates and leverages work to ensure staff development. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in NetSuite development and implementation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Expert in SuiteScript 2.x (incl. map/reduce), SuiteFlow, and SuiteCloud patterns; fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript. </li>\n <li>Hands on experience with SDF and DevOps/CI-CD practices(branching, code review, automated validation,artifact deployments)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience of API development and hands-on experience in the development of RESTful integration </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience in designing efficient, scalable and secure solutions to meet evolving business needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working on web and web services projects with a focus on distributed systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SOAP integrations, or REST integrations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with performance and scalability of ERP systems including NetSuite governance and performance tuning.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with SaaS/Cloud architecture and Oracle database architecture. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with ETL tools and techniques. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions (e.g. Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft, Workato). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Agile development experience and/or Scrum Master certification. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in release management and software development life-cycles (SDLC). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Damian Kauffman, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 to $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases.
