Reporting to the <strong>Director, Project Controls</strong>, you will lead project controls excellence across major rail and transit programs—driving financial discipline, schedule certainty, risk visibility, and informed decision‑making that enables successful delivery.</span></p><hr><p><span><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Lead project controls functions across major, complex Rail &amp; Transit programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and scope alignment</span></li><li><span>Establish strong project governance and act as a trusted interface between clients, project teams, and internal Project Controls leadership</span></li><li><span>Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, earned value management, and financial reporting with accuracy and insight</span></li><li><span>Develop, manage, and maintain baseline budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures to control hours and expenditures</span></li><li><span>Identify risks, opportunities, and deviations early, proposing practical mitigation and recovery strategies</span></li><li><span>Lead WBS and project coding structures in Primavera P6, collaborating closely with planners and schedulers</span></li><li><span>Prepare and present clear, concise operational reporting to senior and executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making</span></li><li><span>Review and approve client billings, track payments, and oversee sub‑consultant financial performance</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>10+ years of progressive experience in Project Controls Manager or Project Controls Lead roles</span></li><li><span>Proven experience delivering major, multidisciplinary, complex infrastructure projects, ideally within Rail &amp; Transit</span></li><li><span>Post‑secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, business, or a related field</span></li><li><span>PMP designation (required)</span></li><li><span>Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and project cost estimating tools</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insight</span></li><li><span>Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, balancing multiple priorities amid change and ambiguity</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></span></p><p><span>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
