Visually checks stock received against written requisition with storeroom personnel, to ensure order is accurate. Upon delivery to the bar, re-checks items with bartender for completeness.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Cuts, slices and peels perishable garnished and fruits, mixes and pours juices in sufficient amounts according to projected business. Stores back-up supplies needing refrigeration in prescribed containers for later use.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Checks and assists bartender in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies, i.e. stir sticks, napkins, matches, and so on, for both the immediate bar and extended service area. Transports taps, replaces and performs routine maintenance requirements on heavy beer kegs.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Scoops ice from ice bins, transports to service areas and replenished ice containers for usage.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Boxes and saves empty liquor bottles as they accumulate for later returns and requisitions.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Attend mandatory meetings.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Keep work area clean and organized.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor such as cleaning guest spills.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed.</span></li>\n </ul>\n <p><span><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</u></strong></span></p>\n <ul>\n  <li><span>Ability to work, stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Requires the ability to lift and carry object weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.&nbsp;</span></li>\n </ul>\n <p><span><strong><u>SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:</u></strong></span></p>\n <ul>\n  <li><span>Must be knowledgeable in preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper delivery amounts and understand portion sizes.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Sufficient manual dexterity of hands in order to use a knife, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, tap kegs and extend arms overhead to stock items.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient for the employee to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Ability to comprehend written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Ability to work in confined spaces.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs., at a continuous schedule.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Ability to perform duties within temperature ranges, from normal to refrigerated.</span></li>\n </ul>\n <p><span><strong><u>EDUCATION REQUIRED:</u></strong></span></p>\n <p><span>High school graduate or equivalent preferred.</span></p>\n <p><span><strong><u>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</u></strong></span></p>\n <p><span>Previous hospitality experience preferred.</span></p>\n <p><span><strong><u>LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:</u></strong></span></p>\n <div style=\"border-bottom:1pt solid; border-left-style:none; border-right-style:none; border-top-style:none; padding:0in 0in 1pt\">\n  <p><span>Food Handler’s Certification required.</span></p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p>\n  <p><strong><u>SALARY RANGE: </u></strong>$19.00 - $21.48 PER HOUR&nbsp;</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <p><span><strong><u>NOTE:</u></strong></span></p>\n <p><span>This description excludes non-essential and marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the fundamental job duties.
