The Loft at Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ Key Responsibilities:
Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic services to students and families. Offer crisis intervention and collaborate with school staff and other providers. Participate in community meetings, team meetings, and quality improvement committees. Manage counseling referrals, provide individual and evidence based group therapy, and plan support groups and prevention programming. Utilize the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale for screening. Supervise after-school activities and support summer programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in electronic medical records. Demonstrate a Team mentality by taking a multidisciplinary approach to providing quality services to adolescent students. Qualifications:
Education : Master’s in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or equivalent field. Certification : LAC/LSW, LPC/LCSW, or state licensure specific to degree. Experience : Providing mental health services in diverse, urban settings. Preferred experience with adolescents in a high school environment.
