    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company is recruiting for experienced Maintenance Technician for our plants in Langley BC reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This opportunity is primarily responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing all production line equipment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems to ensure seamless operation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Plan and execute advanced corrective and preventive maintenance, applying in-depth knowledge of mechanical theories and principles.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Drive measurable improvements in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime and enhancing reliability.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Accurately document daily activities, including maintenance logs, downtime reports, completed work orders, preventive maintenance records, inventory slips, material requisitions, and Maintenance Work Requests.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ensure proper lubrication and inspection of all equipment checkpoints, maintaining optimal performance and longevity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Collaborate with other departments to ensure conformances of standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Other tasks as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Able to read, interpret, and draw parts and assemblies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Millwright certification and fitter experience will be an asset.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Knowledge of PLC programming and heat exchange principles</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Proficiency in the use of maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Word, and Excel.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Physical Environment:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ability to stand for long periods of time</li></ul>\n",
