Filtration Group is a global market-leading provider of filtration consumables that drives innovation and delivers solutions across a broad spectrum of applications and end-markets, with a focus on life sciences, indoor air quality and industrial technologies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Quality Control Technician I performs prescribed tests and evaluates data to determine compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) specifications for raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods and product returned on a Return Materials Authorization (RMA).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs work in a safe manner following all company safety rules and procedures.</li>\n <li>Commitment to Total Quality Leadership (TQL) through implementation of the Quality Policy and participation in, or support of, teams and work groups. Understand and comply with all applicable requirements of the Company’s ISO/FSSC/cGMP quality system as documented  in the Quality Manual, System Procedures, and Work Instructions.</li>\n <li>Performs tests and evaluates data to determine compliance with QA specifications for raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and product returned on a Return Materials Authorization.</li>\n <li>Provides written and oral communications concerning the conformance to and deviations from prescribed specifications.</li>\n <li>Formulates solutions used in moisture adsorption tests, RH tests, and other analytical projects based on prescribed instructions.</li>\n <li>Assists other QC Technicians, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and R&D ScientistsOrganizes and maintains the filing of inspection and test data and shop order records.</li>\n <li>Participates in internal and supplier audits.</li>\n <li>Writes reports and analysis of tests and inspections.</li>\n <li>Verifies test equipment and performs simple calibrations.</li>\n <li>Performs special tests with assistance from Quality Engineering or R&D Scientists</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the position. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma Required; Associates degree in Technical Field preferred.</li>\n <li>At least 1-3 years of experience as a technician in a quality assurance laboratory.</li>\n <li>Familiar with measuring devices including calipers, balances, force gages, water activity meter, gas analyzer; knowledge of acidity, alkalinity, and solution preparation; able to write reports and analysis of tests and inspections; competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Sharepoint; competent in use of QT9 QMS portal, InfinityQS data system and InforXA.</li>\n <li>Able to work well with others, strong organizational skills, self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and proven track record of results with bias for action.</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills and ability to utilize time and resources effectively and efficiently.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $19.50 - $22.50 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shift:</strong> 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is intended to provide overlap with both 1st and 2nd shifts to support operational needs. While the standard schedule is 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, there is flexibility in the hours based on business needs and team coverage requirements.</p>\n<p>We are open to discussing scheduling options that support both business requirements and the candidate's availability.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to stand and walk for up to four hours.Occasionally lift or move objects up to 50lbs.Able to climb on and move barrels and super sack for sampling.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>__ </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Multisorb is part of Filtration Group.
