Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​Draw blood from patients and blood donors. </li>\n <li>​Verify patient/donor identity to ensure proper labeling of the blood sample. </li>\n <li>​Label the drawn blood for testing and processing. </li>\n <li>​Enter patient information into database. </li>\n <li>​Assemble and maintain medical instruments such as needles, test tubes and blood vials. </li>\n <li>​Keep work areas clean and sanitary. </li>\n <li>​Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​High School diploma or equivalent required.
